The Logistics Division is born. In response to current demand and market changes and in view of an increasing need to improve on logistics services and to achieve a higher level of professionalism, while sticking up to our vocation towards quality and service for our customers that has always been MACAR’s token, after an effort loaded with illusion, we have created our Logistics Division. With this we are now able to offer a wide range of services catering to any storage needs, from very small parts to bulky storage items by following an adequate stock management method specific for each sector (Batch control, serial number, etc.). We have in place order preparation processes as required for each type of product (FIFO, LIFO, etc.), at all times relying on state-of-the-art technology and qualified staff undergoing permanent training, thus enabling us to gain a Know-How specific for each customer in order to ensure quality in their logistics and distribution in addition to being able to contribute improvements on these areas. As the needs of our customers are also impacted by the best choice of locations with a view to reducing costs and responsiveness of their supply chains, this new project’s genius is to create a logistics solution wherever it is optimal. We are not restricted to working only from our new premises at Alcalá de Henares and, relying on our industry knowledge, both structural and operational, are now able to ensure a high quality standard at very competitive costs. In this manner, and in adherence to our quality and service commitments towards our customers, a philosophy that has always been the cornerstone of MACAR’s policy and one which has borne fruit in the growth of this company and in its current market positioning, we created our Logistics Division already in operation. Therefore we have now become a Comprehensive Logistics Operator, thus adapting to the current needs of our industry. |
